I've been using this paddle (or a similar version, Flexi, Superlight) for the last few years and I really like the feel. Other paddles may be stronger, but unless you are routinely hucking 50' I find that this paddle offers more than enough durability for a wide variety of kayaking. Most of all, I like the feel of the paddle shaft. The grip fits my hand perfect, and the bent shaft is ideal for keeping my wrists feeling healthy (mine aren't and have a bunch of metal in them). They aren't cheap, and assuming you aren't worried bout losing your paddle, it's a great investment that will last for years to come.
The blade shape and foam core gives this paddle a lot of power. Yet, the flexible shaft and ergonomic grip helps reduce strain on your joints. I would definitely recommend this paddle to a friend.

Comfortable, light weight, ergonomic, and solid. These paddles can take a hit and you'll come up paddling away. Good news is if you ever do manage to break one AT's great customer service will usually have it repaired and back in your hands faster than you can decide where to paddle next.
The AT2 Standard is a light fast paddle. I like the way the grips fit my hands, the shaft has a nice flex to it but not to much. I use it for creeken, and playen it gets that job done.
The AT2 Standard Paddle is the ultimate performance play/creek paddle. Smooth in a hole or on the wave with a great purchase each stroke taken! The AT2 is Adventure Technology's best all around paddle and will meet the needs that any class of river may demand! Look to the AT 2 Flexi for similar performance with more shaft give.
