Pyranha Kayaks Company Information Pyranha is not just another canoe & kayak company, neither is it part of a bigger bureaucratic corporation. We are the same now as we were 40 years ago when we sold our first boat, a small company formed, run and driven by a group of enthusiasts. Driven by us and the people who use, sell and hang out in our boats. They are all part of the World wide family that is 'Pyranha'.
We have certainly grown; We now have over 70 staff and have our own offices in Runcorn, England and Asheville, N.C. in the USA, both staffed by friends and fellow boaters. We have also built up a small group of close working importers and dealers around the world who are just as passionate about their boating as you are. Around the globe you can talk to us or anyone who is authorised to sell our boats and you can be sure that you will be talking to a fellow enthusiast whose knowledge and experience you can count on.
Pyranha is driven not by the cry for more profit from the accountant or by the need to keep shareholders happy, but by the burning desire to produce the most innovative designs possible that enable us to take our boating to new levels and enjoy our precious time on the water. They are designed for people who are committed to the sport and who, like us, have canoeing and kayaking in their blood. We only answer to ourselves and to you.
