I have an XL for my 85 pound dog and it fits him great. He's not much of a swimmer without the pfd but with it he floats high and swims much better. It creates more confidence for him as well as me. He has never fussed about wearing the pfd so I assume it is comfortable for him. The handle on the back is perfect for lifting him up too. I took him canyoneering and could lift and pass him by the handle so his weight would be distributed across his body. After 30 plus days of use it still looks brand new, the same quality you expect from all Astral's pfds.
