Comfortable and reliable. The GreenJacket has everything you would expect out of a rescue vest. Only made with the best materials in the industry. The quick release strap is easy to disengage and the knife and towteather clip is easily accessible, but most importantly it keeps you floating on those near death experiences. Easy and comfortable to tuck up when running drops plus it leaves a sexy tanline when boating warm rivers in the jungle.
this life vest has done very well by me. it keeps me safe on the river without messing with my balance and play boating. the features are placed in a way that they are all reachable but are not stabbing you in the face wile you boof. this is one of my favorite pieces of gear because it is what keeps you alive and safe on the water.

this pfd is probably the best one i have ever used. it fits great on me and is very comfortable. i would recomend the green jacket to anyone who wants to step up their game in whitewater and get a wonderful pfd.
This jacket is awesome! I love the comfortable, low profile fit. It is not 'female specific', but still fits amazing. It comes with a great front pocket for stashing stuff and an inner sleeve for storing the compatible throw bag. muy bueno

Astral and the associated team of designers and have been pushing forward the form and function of PFDs for many years and this is probably the best rescue vest on the market. The added coverage of the back and soft shoulder tissue without noticeable decrease in comfort is great the placement of knife attachment, the tow harness stow on either side and the throw bag pocket make it the most functional as well. The spectra loop for rescue and being rescued also puts Astral in front of other manufactures. I love this jacket and would not consider another.
Few dislikes: - Not made for a longer torso, fits a little weird for the taller person - Side pockets are a little too far back and can be difficult to reach.
This is a nice vest. Easy access to the quick release strap makes rescuing/towing gear low stress and simple. It is easy to put on and has a wide range of adjustments to make it a comfy fit. This vest doesn't restrict mobility while paddling which is super nice. Not so easy to get off, but all in all, a really great, life-saving piece of equipment!

Awesome PFD, keeps me buoyant but it's not too big and bulky. Recommend this PFD to anyone!
I have many dislike about the life jacket bacause I have used it several times in teaching. Just a few weeks ago we were teaching a SWR class and the participant couldnt get the quick release on a V lower drill to release because of the angle you have to reach. With the quick release on one side the individual has to use their left arm to pull it and then they are having to extend their reach even farther to have it release. Or you almost have to have a double jointed right wrist. The quick release should always be centered so both hands can reach it.
The cow tail quick release and the belt quick release are both on the same side and get int the way of each other. The two lower side pockets are almost impossible to open. I have also lost gear out of them because of the zipper opening. Again like the two quick releases the two pockets are in the wrong location. My pouch throw bag has also falling apart. I dont recommend the jacket, way to many problems in the real world of ww.
