Never forget your throw-bag again. I have saved allot of people with this bag. I really like how it integrates into the astral vest.

This reserve bag is the way to go. If you find yourself without your boat at least you'll still have a rope to rescue your buddies or pull your boat off the rocks. I've got the spectra bag, which is stronger and more expensive, but doesn't float as well as the polypro bag. I highly recommend this rope as a secondary bag, but to keep the bulk down, it is too short to be a paddler's only rope. I carry one of these in my Astral vest and a full length 80' rope in my boat. For expedition creeking, you're gonna need both and Astral is the gold standard!

Another great idea from Astral! Nothing better than having your throwbag easily accessible at all times no matter where you are at on the river. The best part is not having to get inside your boat in order to reach your "bag." I have personally roped a friend out of a hole while still sitting in my boat from an eddy downstream. There was no time or place to get out of my boat and i still had the security of sitting in my boat with the skirt on. This bag is a must for anyone with an Astral Rescue Vest.
Astral Buoyancy's Poly Pouch Throw Bag is a low profile throw rope that fits in Astral Buoyancy Life vests. At 50 feet long it fits comfortably in the front pocket of Astral Pullovers, and behind the pockets on Astral's front-entry vests. All whitewater paddlers should carry a rope! A rope in your boat doesn't help. One in your hand does. Save time in an emergency -- nuff said. This rope is offered in a Polypropylene and Spectra Version.
