Designed by Dave Parmenter in cooperation with Charlie MacArthur (C-Mac), part surfboard, part whitewater kayak, part skateboard, the C4 Waterman C-Mac ATB is the first stand-up surfboard exclusively designed for training, cruising; as well as creative and radical hot-dogging in the new but growing sport of stand-up whitewater paddling. C4 WATERMAN ATB Mac Pro 10'6'' Stand Up Paddle Board is an innovative design that allows the paddler stability and speed, but also allows the whitewater paddler to make fast turns, allowing for lots of maneuverability to avoid obstacles in the river. Furthermore, the steep rails and twin-edged bottom chine lessen drag and prevent water from climbing up onto the deck when the rail is across the current, always a dicey position for a surfboard-type craft in rapids.
DESIGN NOTES: The 10'6" ATB incorporates the proven design components of the 10-6, with extra tail rocker to help manage the downstream flow of a river.
