And literally anything else you want to tell our customers about yourself. Have fun with this! Tell the world about yourself! You can also make up any interview questions that you want to answer.

I was raised in Knoxville Tennessee, and started developing my skills on the rivers in TN and NC. I moved to Colorado Springs in June 2008 to attend the Air Force Academy. After two years at the Academy, I made a life changing decision to voluntarily leave before commitment day at the start of my junior year. I contemplated this decision on a month long kayaking trip around Colorado. With a little bit of inspiration from John Grace and Pat Keller at the OBJ campground; I decided I wanted to do more with my life than to live a restricted life in the Air Force.

Currently, I am attending University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and life couldn’t be much better. Throughout the winter, I started skiing up to 3 days a week at Monarch as well as climbing, coaching gymnastics, and keeping my grades up. One very exciting aspect of my coaching job is my summer break during the whole month of June. This will be the third consecutive year that I have had June completely free to kayak almost daily. I will also have 4 days a week in July and August to kayak.

With my free time, I plan to further explore Colorado in search of new runs and more people to kayak with. Last year alone, I made 15 personal first descents. I am highly motivated to kayak every day possible. Being a former NCAA division 1 gymnast, I have become used to practicing 3.5 hours a day, 4 days a week. I plan to continue to use my work ethic in pursuit of becoming a better kayaker.
