Home town?  Beautiful Butte, Montana

Paddling days per year?  We start in April or May and paddle till September usually for about 70 days per season, give or take.

Favorite place to paddle?  Favorite local rivers include the Wise River and the Boulder River.  Little farther we like going to the Alberton Gorge and the Lochsa.  My personal favorite is the Selway in late summer.

Why I paddle?  For family fun, fitness, adventure and solitude.

What I do when the river is dry?  I run a local judo club which keeps us busy.  Also like snowboarding and mountain biking.
