This is a great day creeking bootie. I've worn mine for over a year now and they are holding up great, which is unexpected for creeking shoes. They provide solid traction and a low profile. I've never had any problems with a rash from the material. The ankle support is what you'd expect from a bootie.
Purchased these shoes earlier this spring, worn twice. These shoes give my feet a huge rash each time. Not poison ivy or something like that as my legs are fine. Some material in the shoes is causing it.
The KEEN Gorge Boot takes care of the paddling community's needs by being comfortable, warm, and tough (oh yea, and they are reasonably priced as well). The 3mm neoprene keeps feet warm in the river (or any soggy place), the two strap system is easy to adjust even with frigid fingers, and the high traction outsole grips the most slippery surfaces. Keen also features an innovative draining system placed at the arch where water often pools. Test these water boots out on a river near you. Women size down one size. This is a unisex boot.
