Just made the big purchase of the drysuit. A little nervous at first but I LOVE IT! I have used it for the past few weeks and its amazing when your base layers are completely dry. I am a female paddler and found the small size to be perfect, all you need is a ladyjay and your set. Much more comfy then the womens specific suits.

I love this suit! After using this suit for one winter on the water, it is still as dry and comfy as the first day. I never wanted to make the investment of a drysuit, but now that i have, i will never go back. Here are some reasons why I chose the Double D over some of the other drysuits. The rear zipper allows for the suit to be more dry and creates less bulk underneath your PFD. It is a little difficult to zip by yourself at first, but gets easier after a few goes and is well worth the struggle. The new 4 layer fabric is super dry and holds up better to rocks. I have taken a few hard hits while paddling and have not ripped the fabric. Overall, the best part is getting out of the suit and being completely dry. That is something that i was never able to accomplish with a dry top and dry pants. Being dry on the river is priceless and is the much safer way to go during the winter and on cold water runs.

I recently have been able to spend some long cold days in a IR Double D Dry Suit...and it has preformed wonderfully. Super comfy fit for me being 6'3" 210 lbs, in full creek gear and plenty of layers. Although the zipper take a fellow boater to help you out (unless you are super flexible) i'm a big fan of it being away from the chest and vest, providing an ergonomically placed fit.
The IR Double D Drysuit is made of waterproof, breathable 4 layer fabric with an entry zip across the back, fabric booties, and a relief zipper. The Entrant 4 material is made tough for hard use. This drysuit is a great choice for paddling in cold conditions or any trip where being comfortable and dry is a necessity. The shell fabric- waterproof, breathable Entrantâ„¢- was custom made to withstand the unique rigors of paddling garments. The zippers are hand-glued in to ensure the best possible seal.
IR Double D Drysuit Features:
Super flexible and easy to open dry zippers
Zero 4-way cross seams
Taped seams
Latex neck and wrist gaskets
Reinforced fabric booties
Relief fly zip
Every seam on the entire suit is hand trimmed to 1/8th of an inch to ensure maximum seam tape contact
