I had this skirt attached to a X Jacket to make a dry deck. After 2 years it has proven to be durable, but it doesn't seal well around a Rockstar or Allstar. Occasionally some water sneaks in around my knees. It wasn't a huge problem, but slightly annoying. It may fit other boats better. I never had a problem while creeking or teaching in my Villian.

This is the only sprayskirt I have ever owned. I bought one for warm weather and one for my drydeck. It is a pain to put on, but I got used to it. The tradeoff of a drier boat is worth any increase in forearm strength from using this skirt.
$145 seems like a lot for a skirt. However, buying a cheap skirt means having an involuntary pool party in the middle of a great session.
The IR lucky charm has been great to me. I have used it playboating creeking and in big water. I used this skirt in Zambia and Uganda and have hade 0 implosions witch is impressive. As soon as I used a different skirt I imploded that day. Also the IR is the first skirt I’ve had that simply doesn’t leak.
I've had this skirt since Gauley Fest and it has been great. It keeps me dry taking video 4 times a week. Its a bit difficult to put on the first time, but stretches with a couple of uses. I'm a fan of the bright green grab handle too...
The IR Lucky Charm Rand Spray Skirt has a new 'fin' style rand. Like all rand-style skirts, this model tends to be harder to get on a rim than a bungee skirt, but is an excellent choice for kayakers who are either concerned with skirt implosion, and/or who are very hard on skirts. The “fin” style rand is designed to create an effective water barrier on even the most challenging rims, an improved high-viz grab handle, and a general overhaul of the skirt fit-range to encompass the new generation of wider cockpit rims, particularly Jackson kayaks.
