They are generally light-weight, and a great alternative to hard-shell kayaks when it comes to portability, ease of storage and cost. They are great for flat-water or rivers, and most feature a self-bailing feature, so they won't fill up with water. Great if you don't want to worry about roll classes, and most are suitable for overnighters or day trips. |
