Not a pro, not even close. Just bought a new All Star, only paddled it once on a sweet wave hole... so far. This boat is sick. I paddled in a flatwater pool for an hour before paddling up to the hole. Boat is very stable.. very. Everything is easier and requires FAR LESS energy to pull off. This boats ends want to be submerged. Try a little stern squirt.. don't even need the paddle. And cartwheels, so much easier and smoother. Ends just come around like it's automatic. On a wave, sooooo sick. This boat stays on the smallest of waves and is very retentive. I pulled off clean 360s on waves that most boats can't even stay on. Boat is FAST on a wave and I mean FAST. Edge to edge transitions are so snappy. And, this boat wants to air off the wave. Blunts without hesitation whereas I couldn't pull them off in my previous boats. Hole - same deal, this thing is soo sick. Again, retentive.. I can't wait to get back out there tomorrow. Rolls with no effort.
I first paddled the 2010 Allstar at the Teva Mountain games in June 09. I got my boat the day before the competition and was concerned about competing in a new boat that I wasn't used to. After trying it I was amazing at it's speed and pop. It immediately allowed me to go bigger on my loops, and was incredibly easy to finish phoenix monkeys and mcnasties. After spending more time in it, it brought my boating to a new level because it is so easy to throw around. Have fun with it!

this boat has changed my life. So sick! I just picked up a superstar and id have to say all the hype is true. The boat is super loose, and super retentive in small features. I was surfing and blunting on tiny waves that ive never been able to do anything on before. That being said the speed you have on the little features is going out of hand on the bigger ones when they come in this year. Stoked! 9.5 out of 10
2010 All-star won Women's, Jr Men. and Men's Gold Medals (the entire men's finals were in All-stars!) at the world Championships in Thun for good reason - it's simply a step ahead. More air for more pop and retention, shorter length for less swing weight and faster rotation, and an improved rocker profile to get you speeding down the wave and off the water in places others can barely front-surf. We are expecting to be 'flattered' by imitation soon, as it's pretty clear the 2010 All-star is way out in front of the playboating field. But can they match the comfort, easy-handling, and forgiving edges? Clay Wright Team JK

Iām 5ā8ā and about 130 lbs and I got my star 2010. Super sweet boat! It is quite the acrobat and is great for looping. Awesome to river run in 'cuz you can catch any wave you want. Very easy to maneuver and roll. Stays dry and makes any play session a blast!

Bought one of these boats this July once I sold my 2007 2 Fun. Great boat, cartwheeling is easier than ever, getting vertical is effortless, and has lots of pop. I learned to Loop for the first time yesterday at the NOC Wave! Awesome Boat and definately worth the money.
