Bought a Fun 1.5 for my 80lb 10 year old son. The boat has exceptional outfitting and does not skimp on features or adjustment. The boat hadles very well and had sup rising speed and tracking for its size. My novice paddler is handling eddy turns and ferrying in current much better than I had hoped. I suspect part of his rapid progress is the quality of this boat's design. VERY pleased with this.
Our daughter loves her Jackson Fun 1. She Started paddling it at age 4 in the lake. Learning the paddling basics in an easy to paddle boat for her.

I'm a 110lb, 54 year old woman who has had a Fun 1.5 for 5 years. I've been kayaking for about 25 years. I love this boat - although it is more like paddling a cork. It is responsive, well-behaved, and surprisingly stable. It is easy to roll. It makes me smile when I paddle it - such a silly little thing, you can't help but have fun in it!
The first boat that got me into kayaking when I was very little, it is the best boat for kids that want to get into kayaking, when there young. And they can actually carry while most boats are just about immposssible, overall it is the boat that will get kids like me hooked from the first time there in the water.
