Awesome boat. As always, I was sad to see the 2010 Allstar go, but this boat is even better. It loops bigger and is more retentive in holes, but the biggest difference is the speed and looseness on a wave. So good.
This boat is amazing in a hole. Easy to maneuver. Huge air for loops and all tricks.

The boat is fantastic, loose fast the benchmark for other companies to follow. Some people really like ratchets. personally, I dislike ratchets. Ratchets have 8 to 10 points in which they can fail per side. Moving parts fail. if I am at skook, or running a river and my rope breaks, and it is possible... I can fix it. With ratchets the day is finnished. I give the 5 Stars for this boat because its got ropes not ratchets! I must admit, U could carry extra ladders, and ratchets, and a screwdriver........ ya Ill keep the ropes..

null Does the Rock Star live up to the hype? Mostly. I would not recommend selling your 2010 Star series if you really like that. Both boats are awesome. I moved up to this boat from my 07 Fun. There is a noticeable difference in ease of use for playboating. I feel comfortable taking the Rock Star on local class 3-4 runs as a river runner (lots of volume helps.)
Minus half a star for the cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap backband "system." If JK offered the option of a real ratchet system, 5 stars. CKS does not offer the option of a 4.5 star review, so 4 stars.
