For me Kayaking has shown me the world, I do this year round and I don’t want to do anything more. I have been working in Chile for 4 summers now and to be in Pucon to work is amazing because there are so many amazing rivers all around. Also to be a safety Kayaker on the Rio Trancura is a lot of fun i get to meet people all from all over the world and get to show them what i do and why it has captured me so much. I also Work at RMOC in Salida, CO as a kayak instructor, and to me that is what i really love to do. I love to teach, and to teach people something I love so much a true passion of mine is just great, so I get to add two passions together kayaking and teaching. The river has taught me how to go with the flow, in the river and out of the river, it’s taught me to slow down and be in the moment in everything that i do, it has taught me patience, and respect. But the one thing it really has shown me is how to enjoy the beauty that is the journey, it’s not the destination!!
