Probably my favorite piece of gear. I paddled in Colorado for 2 years with just a dry-top and neoprene pants. Now that've made the switch I couldn't be happier. Before when my friends would plan trips on winter days I was out, now I'm the one planning them.

If you've worn one then you know, if you haven't it's time to make the switch. Not only is this suit extremely dry and comfortable but it makes winter boating less about survival and more about pure kayaking fun. Kokatat is regarded as one of the best companies in the industry so you know that your investment will be taken care of for YEARS to come!

I will NEVER go back to wearing just a drytop and drypants. I can't believe the difference it makes to have a drysuit. I feel much more confident with my Kokatat. I've tried other drysuits, and the GMER is by far the dryest and longest lasting. The only thing i wish it had is a velcro tab on the outer gaskets on the wrist and neck. I think that would help it stay even dryer.
This is it. The finest piece of kayaking equipment you can own. The GMER is a completely dry drysuit backed by the best customer service in the business at Kokatat. If you want to indulge in the very best get the GMER.

This is the one piece of gear that will increase your fun and safety on the river without question. Bone dry, warm and super durable. If you're serious about kayaking in Colorado, this is a must.
If I knew how nice dry suits could be, I would've bought one 4 years ago. Worth every penny!

Went on a 2 month paddling trip in Norway during the summer. Because of weight I had to choose between the dry top and the dry suit. Went with the suit. Best decision I ever made. On the coldest days (it rained a lot and one day in June it even snowed!) I wore the IR union suit and on the warmest days I wore swim trunks underneath. I stayed totally dry. I even managed not to overheat even on the "blazing" 80 degree days.
My old suit had Velcro around the neck and wrists...wish they didn't do away with that.
If you want to stay dry on the river there’s really no better dry suit the Kokatat GMER drysuit, nuf said. The GMER has been extensively field tested comes standard with Gore-TEX booties, a relief zipper, and the quality you’ve come to expect from Kokatat. I like to think about my dryuit as another piece of safety equipment. It prevents me from thinking twice about getting out into the flow to rescue a boat or scour a rapid and most importantly lets me focus on running the river instead of shivering in the eddy wondering how long until we get to the take out.

I can't say enough about the durability and comfort of the Kokatat GMER Dry Suit. It makes paddling that cold water on those cold days much more enjoyable. Since I have started wearing the dry suit, my paddling experience has been enhanced. I'll never go to the river again without it. There is something to be said after a long day of kayaking and getting to the takeout perfectly dry. Until now I had never experienced that in the past and don't ever care to again. i'm spoiled and you should be too.

If you paddle in cold water this piece of equipment will change your life. No Joke. Being warm and dry on the river makes all the difference in the world. It keeps you calm and collected instead of freezing and wanting to get off the river. It is worth every penny.

The GMER drysuit is the Cadillac of drysuits, I don't know of a single person that has been disappointed with their purchase of this drysuit. The booties that are incorporated into the GMER are an extra perk that really set this drysuit apart, it's a great feeling to be able to have dry feet after a long day on the river. The GMER is made of 3 layer GORE-TEX, the fabric allows moisture to escape from your body avoiding over heating and soaking your under-layers. The fabric is super durable and holds up great but kokatat is one of the most well respected companies in the industry and for good reason, they stand by their products.
Kokatat’s Gore-Tex Meridian drysuit is specifically designed with kayakers in mind. This is the driest, warmest drysuit available from
Kokatat. It has an adjustable overskirt with a Smoothskin neoprene waistband to keep water out of your cockpit. The attached GORE-TEX socks keep your feet dry and warm.
The standard option is available with built-in GORE-TEX socks and a relief zipper. Other options are available as a special order (please note that special order drysuits take 2-3 week).
