Best thing about kayaking: The rivers that I see, smell, and feel. Kayaking is my path in life, and so far the path has lead me to great people, amazing places, and keeps me wanting more.
Best day paddlng ever: Crooked River with lots of water, outside of Bend, Oregon. It was New Years Day on a crisp, winter day. The river, is filled with fun rapids and is about 20 miles. The Crooked River runs about once a year, The landscape is amazing, breathtaking, and the rapids are just pure fun. The Crooked runs through Smith Rocks, and into a mini gorge. A little bit of fun carnage that day, but nothing serious. What a good way to start the year!
