Top 5 Rivers: I love the Gauley River in West Virginia, for its warm water and great play. The North and South Fork of the Crystal above Marble Colorado are too fun and the camping is perfect., We live on the Roaring Fork so any section and its tributaries are close to my heart. OBJ, Upper East and Daisy Creek are worth a trip every year.. Oh and the Ocoee River in Polk County, TN where I learned to boat and met my husband.
The Perfect Vacation is: Chasing whitewater in our Astro van full of gear, food and dogs.
Hobbies other than kayaking: Snowboarding, wakeboarding, mountain biking, taking pictures, playing with the dogs, watching football, fishing, shooting clays, traveling, and cooking southern food
