Love this board. Makes every little wave super fun and skatey. Had it fly off my rack the other day and the damage was nothing I could'nt fix with some epoxy. A bomber board.

One of the easiest SUP boards to surf on river waves I have ever tried. Stable yet dynamic. Learn to surf inland today or just keep surfing inland with a River Surfer from Badfish.

I've paddled a buddies 6'11" river surf Badfish about 6 times and it ROCKS. Once on the feature, its a ton of fun. Lots of control and you can tell its made to rip up river features. Highly recommended!

The Badfish River Surfer 6'11" gives every land bound surfer their dream, a dawn patrol surf session thousands of miles from any ocean. The River Surfer is specifically designed for the river because river waves are not like ocean waves. Rivers waves are generally smaller and slower. So it is not surprising that boards that surf in the ocean do not work well on standing waves in rivers. 4 years of design and testing have lead to the ultimate tools for surfing standing waves in rivers. These boards will rip large waves in high volume rivers like the Glenwood wave or Lachine, but where they shine is at the local play wave at average flows. The River Surfer is designed to have enough volume to plane out in smaller river waves, bringing surfing to your backyard play spot. (without sharks)
The Badfish River Surfer Features:
Short Length: 6'11",' means you won't be fighting the purl the entire time you are surfing.
Extra thick: 5"+ keeps riders planing and gives the board enough volume to be paddled in and out of the eddy.
Unique shape: 4 years of prototyping lead Badfish to a shape that will rip whitewater features, cutbacks & floaters become possible on river waves and holes. This is achieved through superior secondary stability not found in boards designed for the ocean and a unique shape that allows the board to maneuver across tight river features.
