It's not a bad bag, but I question the 9'2" rating as my Large Burn at 8'3" appears to fit just perfectly. Perhaps it would fit a thinner, longer boat but I do not know.
The handles do make it a nice transport bag. But the durability of the cloth leaves a bit to be desired. Just a small amount of dragging on concrete started separating the seams on the read/black intersection.
A whole was was worn in the black material, either by the folks at DIA or in San Jose,CR. Looks like it got drug by a handle on one end.... So maybe end handles aren't so great as it lets them do that.
The other issue I had is the zipper stop is non existant and both zippers slid right off the end of the bag when I was rezipping it at the hotel after getting out some straps. About all the use the bag had at that point was an interstate drive to DIA, DIA, Frontiers cargo hold, and the San Jose airport.
Definitely disappointed in durability. Perhaps some of the durability could have been improved by wrapping foam around the bows and bottom of the kayak, but that still would not fix the zipper issue.
It's a nice looking bag and nice for travel, but not remotely as durable as I'd have hoped. Giving it a
3 star rating.
