They use Supratex neoprene, which features a 4-way stretch, and a waffle-weave face material which is highly abrasion resistant and protects the 3.5mm neoprene foam. For Armortex and Neoprene Spray Decks, Snap Dragon utilizes a Single Sheet design which avoids potentially weak areas where seams would meet, producing a stronger and more flexible deck. Reinforcement is heat welded onto the top of the Expedition Series Skirts at the high wear edges of the deck and it also protects paddlers knuckles during play sessions. Their unique industrial-strength Power Cord provides a water tight seal around the rim and features the strength of rope but with some of the stretch of shock cord. Stitched directly to the deck edge under tension to provide the renowned taut fit that paddlers demand.The optional Implosion Bar adds enhanced rigidity to the spray deck and keeps the deck secure when looping in holes or running the biggest drops. It is attached to the underside of the deck and positioned to leverage against the cockpit rim of the kayak. In addition to the traditional grab loop, the S.O.S. (Safety-Off-Strap) incorporates one inch wide, flat nylon webbing that is stitched to the sides of the deck and extends across the top of the Spray deck. Pulling up on the S.O.S. releases the deck on the sides of the coaming.

Snap Dragon is unique in that they make everything in their shop which allows them to make quick repairs. For out of warranty skirts or damage due to normal wear and tear, repairs can be made for a nominal charge. Snap Dragon products are warranted to the original owner for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. If you are not satisfied with one of their products at the time you receive it, or if one of their products does not perform to your satisfaction, return it to CKS (or the store you bought it from) or to Snap Dragon Design for repair, or replacement.
