Shred Ready, Inc. has been in business since 1997. Located in Auburn, AL, they specialize in helmets for watersports including kayaking, wakeboarding and kiteboarding. Shred Ready's mission is to provide their customers with the latest in helmet technology and offering outstanding value and customer service.
They continuously research new materials, and help in setting industry helmet standards through ASTM membership. They were also the first US company to voluntarily comply with the CE 1385 standard for headgear in water sports helmets.
Some of the products you'll find in use in their gear includes Kevlar, and Expanded Polypropelyene. Their helmets feature either the HOT or the HOG lock systems, to create a better fit, and removable ear flaps for ear protection. They have also started to incorporate custom graphics on their helmets.
SR is the only company for water sports that features a helmet replacement policy, which is in effect for one year after purchase.
