I am really happy I went with the Tdub. The unique brim syle provides the best sun protection, which is important since it's kind of hard to paddle with sunglasses. I no longer have to squint all the time. :-)
It's also super comfortable, and I like the way it adjusts behind my head. Overall, this is a winner, and I think I'm sticking with it until the boys at Shred Ready come out with something even better.

The Shred Ready Tdub is the best helmet I have ever had. This helmet provides the perfect combination of adequate protection without feeling claustrophobic. This helmet is super light so you don't even know your wearing it. The outfitting is really easy to use and can be adjusted in seconds.
If you are looking for protection from a light helmet that can be worn for hours without feeling like you have earplugs in and blinders on, this is the helmet for you!

This helmet continues it's reign as king of the creeking helmets. It provides you with much better hearing and the ability to be heard compared to a full face helmet, while still offering full coverage of your head, upper neck and temple areas. The lip provides just enough coverage to cut the sun while avoiding the longer lips that can be affected by whitewater.

So I've worn a full face helmet for years. However, the full face undoubtedly restricts your ability to talk to other paddlers and to hear what they're saying to you. It got to be so annoying that I decided to go back to a full coverage traditional helmet - the T-Dub. It still has full coverage of your temple and the back of your neck, while allowing you to enjoy the crazy personalities floating down the river next to you. Plus you get the styling of John Grace, Pat Keller, and Daniel DeLavergne. "You only get one chance to run it blind" - Daniel D

Choice helmet that has seen it's fair share of abuse & is still tickin'. Locked in fit with some great coverage. Highly recommend.
