Tim Kelton's Top 5 CKS Gear Picks:
Sweet Prophecy Gore Tex Drytop - Super dry and very breathable like you would expect from any Gore-Tex dry top. Every small pocket, water drain, and gripper rubber just seem more and more well thought out the more I use it. In the end, its super dry, fits great.
Werner Sho-Gun Paddle - Great surface area for taking powerful strokes, just like the Powerhouse, but with the added flotation of a foam core blade.
Sweet Rocker Fullcut and Fullface helmets - I've used both of these helmets over the years for both skiing and kayak. They offer amazing fit, light weight, and most of all, good protection when you need it.
IR Union Suit - After four years in my old one, just upgraded to the newer version and it only got warmer!
Watershed Fuita and Ocoee Dry bags - Still have yet to find anything which tops the watershed. Anything I need to stay dry in a worst case scenario always goes in the watershed bag. The Fuita's for behind my seat as float bags and the Ocoee for my camera.

Squad Bio:
Name: Tim Kelton Birthdate: 7/1/74 Hometown: Philadelphia, PA Currently Resides in: Los Alamos, NM Work: techie computer stuff Years Paddling: 5 Top 3 Rivers: The Embudo and Brazos here in NM, Vallecito is way up there, and then about every river in Chile and New Zealand were amazing The Perfect Vacation is: Long days on the water, nights around the campfire Hobbies other than kayaking: Driving big mt. bikes and backcountry skiing Favorite website: The Range Life would be right up there also since I’m a little bit of tech geek, so I love digg.com Recent playlist on my MP3 player: I’m still trying to kick the “black crack” aka vinyl records habit. Most likely it will be something with a little thump in it. Best day of paddling ever: Just one, I have had too many amazing days to pick just one, but hopefully it will be my next one!
See more of me at: http://nmtk.blogspot.com www.coloradokayak.blogspot.com I started kayaking after finishing an Ironman triathlon where I realized 6 miles into the marathon that I forgot my socks. The next day we wondered into CKS to inquire about camping around BV and realized that I wouldn’t need to use my torn up feet kayaking. Ever since I have been completely hooked and every year I try to boat new rivers and see new places. The beauty with kayaking is that it can be just as amazing to try a different line on a run you have done many times in your own back yard as going around the world to a new remote location.
