The Guide Stick is a bomber paddle for a raft guide. I've had one since 2005 when it came out and have guided full time with it since on everything from shallow rocky class III to high volume class V and it is still just as strong and solid as the day I bought it. The majority of the "bulk" is the burly fibreglass blade and allows for some serious power when you crank on it.
