Werner makes the best paddles out there! I love the carbon sidekick because it is lightweight AND super durable. I've bashed it creeking and playboating, but it still perseveres. I don't think I could trust any other paddle.
This is my Lion Beater. The Carbon Powerhouse has the best durability/performance ratio on the market. I take this paddle confidently into any run, low volume 700 ft/mile or big water hole punching and it carries me safely through. Mine has taken it's share of knocks saving my body from careening into rocks and has stood up to the abuse better than any paddle I've ever owned.
