The sidekick is my favorite all around paddle. Its blade shape makes it friendly for boath creeking to playboating. The colour also makes you stand out (i call it electric blue). I do prefer the bent shaft over straight because on long days of paddling it lessens arm fatigue and keeps your wrists in a more comfortable natural position.
Werner Sidekick Bent Shaft Paddle
This Item is oversized and does not qualify for free shipping.
The Werner Side Kick Kayak Paddle has the largest blades of the player series and offers a great combination of power and responsiveness for a variety of play and creek boaters. The Down-tilt blades enter the water sooner for quicker power and won't get in your way for free-style moves. The Neutral Bent Shaft positions your hands for the best balance, comfort and control, helping to reduce arm fatigue. The Sidekick now has a strong, full carbon shaft that offers a lighter swing weight for less fatigue.
Check out the Werner Player for a Smaller blade design or the Werner Shogun if you are interested in Werner's Performance Core paddles.
