Yampa River town run :) Lots of good memories, easy accessibility, and I can paddle with all my favorite people!
Tell us about your favorite paddling experience or biggest paddling achievement.
I loved our company trips down Gates of Lodore. The first time we did it I got my butt kicked SUPing at Triplet and had a bail out that scared the heck out of me. I had to hop on a raft for Hell's Half Mile. I practice all year long, and when we went back the next year I SUP'd again cleaned it and was able to do Hells Half Mile as well. It was a great feeling and a blast!
You're leaving for the Grand Canyon tomorrow. What is the one luxury item you packed for the trip?
I think the glamping that rafting provides is honestly pretty cush! I love the outdoor tech that makes things so accessible. Maybe a hot tub?
What do you do when you are not on the river?
I love skiing, biking, hiking, and I'm a volleyball player by trade :)

I love working at a company where I'm more than a cog in a wheel. I feel empowered to make my own decisions, solve problems that come up, and put new ideas into place. I also love the lifestyle that the job allows and even encourages! We work hard and play harder. The balance of it and the trust that we will balance it as employees is awesome. More than anything, I'm so appreciative of the folks I work with. The people who chose to work here have such cool outlooks on life, stories, perspectives, and incredible adventure work ethics. I always enjoy meeting up with a co-worker in or out of the office. Working here opened the door to river sports and exploration. I'm so thankful to have this aspect in my life and pumped to continue learning from my coworkers, our customers, and our adventures!
